Contract build capacity for agencies

When a project lands and your team is already full, I take the build. WordPress sites, local SEO, Google Business Profile and schema work — done end to end, under your name, on your deadline.

What I take off your plate

WordPress builds

Design and development in one pass. You hand me a scope or a comp; I hand back a site that works, loads fast, and is machine-readable from the first commit.

Local SEO

Google Business Profile alignment, service and location pages that do not read as doorway pages, entity-consistent NAP across the site, local schema that validates.

Schema and structured data

Entity graphs rather than pasted-in snippets. Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ — modelled once, generated everywhere, and correct after the client edits a page.

AEO and GEO implementation

Getting a client cited by answer engines and generative search, not only ranked by the classic one. This is the work most shops are now selling and few can deliver.

There is an answer engine on this page — the Ask button in the corner runs a grounded Q&A over this site. Easier to try than to describe.

Technical audits with the fix included

A full read of what is stopping a site from ranking, ordered by what will move first — and then the implementation, so it does not come back to you as a ticket someone still has to write.

White-label by default

Your client never learns my name. I work under your brand, in your project management tool if you use one, and I do not contact your clients directly unless you put me on the call. Nothing I build for you appears in my portfolio without your written say-so.

If you would rather introduce me as a specialist on your team, that works too. Your call, not mine.

Proof

Client work at the scale you actually subcontract.

Complete Converting

Toledo, OH — built March 2024

Multi-region local search without doorway pages

An industrial textile manufacturer competing in Toledo and the markets around it. The regional pages are generated programmatically from one content and schema model rather than written one at a time — the same method as Diamond Star, applied to a business that already existed. It shipped in March 2024 and has not been edited since.

Why that matters to an agency

This is the job agencies subcontract most often and the one most likely to be done badly. What earned the placements was content and schema engineering: an entity model the pages and the markup are both generated from, so the business, its services and its service area resolve as one thing across every surface. No social campaign, no review drive — five reviews against a competitor’s 689 — and no retainer keeping it propped up. If a build only holds while someone keeps working on it, what you are selling your client is the working. This one has held for two and a half years untouched.

Google, ChatGPT and Claude

This site shipped in March 2024 and has not been touched since. It went live months before Google launched AI Overviews, and before either ChatGPT or Claude could search the web at all. Today all three name the business and cite its own pages, and it holds first position in the local pack for towns it has no address in. Asked for ten results on one query, Claude returned exactly one — this client — and said it “owns that query outright”. Nothing was maintained into that position. The structure was already right when the surfaces showed up, which is the only version of this result that transfers to your clients. Every query below has been run; each links only to the platforms it was confirmed on.

  • sewn products manufacturer Toledo Ohio

Asked for up to ten results, Claude returned exactly one — the client — and reproduced it on a second run. ChatGPT leads with the same business.

    ClaudeChatGPT

  • converting company Toledo Ohio

First in Google’s local pack out of 1.8 million results. First of two on Claude, stable across runs, and ChatGPT returns it as the strongest match for a converting company handling sewn products.

    GoogleClaudeChatGPT

  • contract manufacturer Toledo Ohio

A query with no cut-and-sew wording in it at all. ChatGPT still picks the client as the best match for the trade.

    ChatGPT

  • custom manufacturer Toledo Ohio

Same again — ChatGPT puts it first for custom sewn products.

    ChatGPT

  • cut and sew manufacturers in sylvania ohio

First in Sylvania's own local pack, from a Toledo address, above a business actually in Sylvania.

    Google

  • cut and sew manufacturers in perrysburg ohio

In the Perrysburg pack, again from out of town.

    Google

  • fast turn around industrial cut and sew manufacturers in Maumee ohio

Google's AI Overview answers with the client. ChatGPT puts it first under “Best match near Maumee” and calls it the first company it would ring.

    GoogleChatGPT

  • fast turn around industrial cut and sew manufacturers in Toledo ohio

Google’s AI Overview opens with the client and cites its pages. Claude returns it as the strongest verified local option, citing completeconverting.com among twenty-nine sources.

    GoogleClaude

  • top cut and sew manufacturers in toledo ohio

First in the home market pack, above a competitor carrying 689 reviews to its five.

    Google

  • best industrial cut and sew manufacturers in toledo ohio

Google's AI Overview leads its Toledo provider list with the business.

Diamond Star Cleaning Services

Allentown, PA

A local services site, compiled rather than written

Thirty-eight pages generated field-for-field against a Google Business Profile master specification. One JSON catalog holds the business entity, 19 services, 15 locations, and the schema model. A Python build renders every page, its markup, its internal links, and the sitemap from that single record.

Why that matters to an agency

When the client changes a phone number, a service name, or a service area, it changes in one place and propagates everywhere — including the schema. No stale NAP in a footer somewhere. No forty pages to hand-edit. No drift between the site and the GBP listing, which is the thing that quietly kills local rankings six months after launch.

The same approach scales down to a fifteen-page site and up past a hundred.

DelawareLegal.help

Delaware — three counties

A brief you cannot build to, answered structurally

A prepaid-legal affiliate covering DUI and traffic, family, estate, property, business and civil matters across New Castle, Kent and Sussex. The client's requirement was a site that did not read as an affiliate funnel — the kind of instruction that arrives without a spec and still has to be answered.

Why that matters to an agency

The answer was the site map, not the surface. It routes by the problem the resident arrived with rather than by the membership tiers being sold, each county gets a coverage surface local search can rank, and pricing appears once instead of being repeated as pressure. The commercial mechanism underneath is unchanged. What changed is whether a visitor trusts it enough to reach it — and that judgment is the thing you are hiring when a brief says “don’t make it feel salesy” and nothing more.

WordPress on Divi and Elementor, deployed as a static export — your team's tools, and no PHP runtime left behind to maintain.

How I work

  1. 01

    Scoping

Tell me the deliverable and the deadline. I will tell you inside a day whether I can hit it, and if I cannot, I will say so rather than take the work and apologise later.

  2. 02

    Communication

A short written update at each milestone. I do not need daily standups and I will not disappear for a week.

  3. 03

    Handoff

You get the build, the documentation, and the reasoning. Nothing is left in my head or on my machine.

  4. 04

    Turnaround

Scoped per project, with a date committed before work starts rather than an estimate that moves. Rush work is possible when I have the room — ask.

Rates

$75 to $100 per hour, or fixed price per project once the scope is clear. Most agencies prefer fixed price on builds and hourly on audits and ongoing work.

Invoiced on completion for smaller pieces of work. Larger projects split across milestones.

No minimum engagement and no retainer required. If you need four hours once a quarter, that is fine.

What I do not do

Copywriting, logo design, paid media management, or ongoing social. There are people who are better at those than I am and you probably already have them.

I also do not take work I cannot do well. If you send me something outside what is listed above, I will tell you rather than learn on your client’s budget.

Twenty years on the web, the last decade split between making things rank and making things work

Most people who sell search visibility do not build the software. Most people who build the software do not think about how it will be found. Working across both means the audit comes back with the fix already written, and the site ships machine-readable before anyone asks for an SEO review.

For an agency, that is one contractor covering a handoff that normally costs two.
